In the distance, N Tower. |
Russel stopped at McD's to get a snack. Nothing on the menu out of the ordinary.
McD's gives you a laminated menu in English so you can point to what you want.
There's even a Krispy Kreme. No "Hot" sign. |
This looks like something in America. So we didn't have to climb a street city street, they installed a elevator. |
Going up the elevator.
Once we got off the side-of-the road elevator, we got tickets for the Cable Car that takes you to the base of N Tower.
Going up on the Cable Car. |
This is the cable car going down, as we went up. |

With Tom, Hyueng-ae, our hosts for the day.
We went down the hill to get a burger.
My burger (the closest one) had spicy chili, about $8
Russel had bacon, hash browns and an egg....on his burger. About $11.
After dinner, we went back up to N Tower to get dessert and a night view of Seoul.
This is Tom taking a picture for some tourists. |

To get back to our bus, we went through more shopping. Koreans are late-nighters. A benefit to having a safe city. |
We didn't get one of these, but I would like to by the end of our trip. Its a corndog with french fries. You dip it in ketchup and/or mustard. |
Russel stopped for some dumplings on our way to the bus. $3 for 3 dumplings and a side salad.
So proud of his chopsticks ability. |
And ice cream. $2 |
