On our own in downtown Seoul, heading into Namdaemun Market. It's a crazy area of street side vendors and shops. SO much shopping in Seoul!
First bite. Not even sure what it is,cept dough.
Not bad. In fact, pretty good.

Shopping, shopping, shopping! Everywhere! |
 |
In the forefront: packaged seaweed. On the table to the left, assorted herbs and nuts in a bag. |
 |
Dried fruits and candy |
We never got really lost in Seoul. These English-speaking Information members are roaming the streets in the tourist, high-traffic area. They came in handy a couple of times.
Various stuff.
 |
We went back to get another. And, helped out 2 guys with a description of what they are. |
 |
Various meat to grill. |
 |
Lunch. |
 |
After Namdaemun Market, we took a train into Itaewon. Itaewon is a lot more international. With more Americans, Turks and Africans. This picture was taken when we sat down for dinner. |
Dinner: a restaurant called "Autumn in New York"
We had a simple 4-rib plate with french fries. Just a little something because we're going to try another place afterwards.
Then we moved on to Vatos Urban Tacos in Itaewon. We split 2 small tacos and had a margarita.

In case of emergency located in just about all train stations that we were in. |
