Manhattan w/Family, Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013

After being in Guam for 1 year, we took our 1st trip back to the States.  Russel and I were going to be attending the 2013 Annual Meeting at Brooklyn Assembly Hall, so our parents (and close friend of the family, Aunt Stella from FL) drove up from Georgia to see us.  P.S. Aunt Stella hosted Stefany's baby shower!

Russel, Stefany and the Saraccos stayed at Mark and Gail Hari's house (thank you Haris!). Russel's mom and Aunt Stella stayed at the Elias (thank you Elias!).  It was a prefect week!  Keep up, this is what we did...

At the Haris' home, Sunday afternoon.

In our rented minivan.  Sarah and Stella in the backseat, heading to Time Square and Central Park

We wanted to show our parents where Russel proposed, April 9, 2010

"Our rock", where Russel got down on 1 knee and Stefany said, "yes".

Oh yeah!  A beautiful day!

Our family on our rock.

A walk through Central Park.

Then we walked to Ground Zero

Then we drove over to Brooklyn.  We got out on the promenade to walk around and stretch our legs.

We saw the sunset.

Russel's mom, Sarah, used to live in Ames, Iowa.  She was in the same cong. as Aaron (in the picture).  He then joined us for dinner.

Dinner at Lombardi's, in Little Italy, the 1st pizzeria in America, 1905.
And, after dinner, we stopped at Ferrara's Bakery and Cafe in Little Italy. : )

Not caught on camera were all the goodies that were purchased!

Crazy coincidence, while dropping off Aaron at his Bethel home, Stef's parents saw a friend of their's walking.  He had only been in Bethel for 3 days when they saw him.

That was our 1st day.
